I accompanied A. Hazima Al-Arif bin Musa, a faculty member in the Department of Geology, this morning, Tuesday, corresponding to 01/31/2023. She requested her in the “remote sensing course” on a field visit to the Libyan Center for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences to learn about the technologies used in the center, such as aerial photography and GIS in applications in The field of geology and several other fields such as agriculture, city planning, desertification, water and natural disasters. The students listened to the explanation given by the different departments in the center about the nature of the work they do. The students also toured the center's office, where the librarian, Ms. Blessed by an explanation of the different types of scientific books contained in the library, the Department of Geology takes this opportunity to extend its utmost thanks and appreciation to the Center for hosting the request of the department.
